I want to level with you. I have been in a rut...for a LOONG time. I've tried countless types of workouts/programs and nothing has stuck.
You see, I did CrossFit consistently and was in the best damn shape of my life until two years ago when a pretty serious back injury derailed my progress.
I'd like to blame my almost 30 pound weight gain on my injury, but really, CrossFit was who I was-and without it, I felt lost.
This past September I got married, and rather than feeling like the best version of myself that day, I was less than thrilled with how I looked. My dress barely fit, and I didn't feel pretty at all.
I am sending this long-winded message because when my husband and I first started dating-I felt sexy...ALL the time! Since my injury, those days are few and far between.
Until today...I just finished your 12/20/17 bounce workout at home-I just started LEKFIT on Sunday, and at the end you have everyone dance to an Aaliyah song. THAT song and that dance made me feel, for the first time in a long while, that that sexy, confident girl is still in there somewhere!
So, with some consistency in my workouts and my eating...I WILL get that sexy back.
And if I slip up or have a bad day, I'm going to dance it out because "If at first you don't succeed, dust yourself off an try again."
